Aura Minerals misses Q2 2026 forecasts after deliberately throttling production at Mensagem
Aura Minerals reported adjusted EPS of $1.16 for Q2 2026 (forecast $1.29) and revenue of $335.97 million (expectation $337.76 million). Management attributed the slight revenue and earnings miss to a targeted production slowdown at the Mensagem mine to accelerate underground development and infrastructure work, but expects a stronger second half. Adjusted EBITDA was $197 million, LTM-EBITDA exceeded $800 million; the full-year production guidance of 340,000–390,000 ounces remains unchanged. The company approved a dividend of $0.72 per share and a $200 million share buyback program; the stock fell about 1.95% to $64.48. » More on de.investing.com
