Indirect subsidiary Blue Owl Finance has issued senior, unsecured and non‑subordinated notes of $750 million due August 18, 2036, with a 6.75% p.a. coupon. The notes are guaranteed by several direct and indirect subsidiaries of Blue Owl Capital, pay semiannually beginning February 18, 2027, and may be redeemed early at a specified make‑whole price; the indenture contains customary covenants and events of default. The issue comes against a leverage ratio of 2.18 and a current ratio of 1.98; Blue Owl also reported solid Q2 results, including revenue above expectations and positive net inflows. » More on de.investing.com
Slowing redemption requests push Blue Owl Capital stock sharply higher
Blue Owl Capital shares rose about 6.6% after investor letters showed a marked decline in redemption requests at two private-credit funds (OCIC: $3.6bn in Q2 vs. $4.2bn in Q1; OTIC: 38.1% vs. 40.7%). Both funds retain the quarterly redemption cap of 5% and are fulfilling redemptions pro rata. In addition, Blue Owl completed the acquisition of Sila Realty Trust at $30.38 per share, approved with over 98% consent. Improved redemption figures, the strategic acquisition and a favorable market backdrop prompted a reassessment of OWL's near-term outlook, although the stock still trades below its year-to-date highs. » More on de.investing.com
Blue Owl rises after private-credit deal and sale speculation at Stack Infrastructure
Blue Owl shares rose intraday about 7.1% and recovered from pre-market losses after the firm acted as a lender in a $300 million private-credit financing for Perk. Additional upside was driven by reports that Stack Infrastructure, a data-center operator owned by Blue Owl, is exploring a sale of its Asia business for more than $30 billion. A rotation into financials supported the rally, even though the stock remains well below its 52-week high; analyst consensus remains at buy. » More on de.investing.com
