  • Bone Biologics expects completion of patient recruitment for NB1 study by end of 2025

Bone Biologics says it expects to complete recruitment for the first-in-human NB1 study in degenerative disc disease in Australia by the end of 2025. The multicenter study of up to 30 patients compares two NB1 concentrations with autograft; NB1 combines NELL-1 with demineralized bone matrix. The company has extended product shelf life from 12 to 18 months, is targeting 24 months, and plans additional clinical sites, an improved potency assay and an interim report after all patients reach the six-month follow-up. Bone Biologics completed a $5m capital raise at the end of June, which is expected to fund operations into Q2 2026; a 1:6 reverse stock split also took effect in June. » More on de.investing.com
