BrainChip reduces loss in Q2 2026 amid rising demand for AKD1500 chips

BrainChip reported Q2 2026 EPS of -$0.01 and revenue of $1.22 million; cash stood at AUD 20 million at the end of June. Management says it has sold 25% of the original inventory of AKD1500 chips, the product roadmap is on schedule, and a new IP offering is expected in about six months. However, there are yield issues in AKD1500 manufacturing, revenue is irregular and cash burn remains negative; financing options are being considered.
