CrossAmerica Partners reported record first-quarter adjusted EBITDA of about $35 million, up 45% year over year, and net income of $10.7 million versus a prior-year loss. Results were driven by higher retail fuel margins (43.7 cents/gal), improved merchandise sales and margins, and ongoing expense control. Distributable cash flow more than doubled to $21.5 million, and asset sales funded debt reduction, bringing leverage down to 3.35x. Management said capital spending remains focused on food-related growth at company-operated sites while continuing real estate rationalization. » More on finance.yahoo.com
