  • Danone announces growth and margin focus with health strategy at Barclays conference

    At the Barclays Global Consumer Conference Danone outlined a strategy centered on health, science and broader distribution and confirmed its full-year guidance for organic growth of 3–5%. Organic growth rose above 4% in the second quarter, while management acknowledged headwinds from an infant formula recall, inflation and capacity constraints. For the second half of the year Danone expects improvement in growth and margins thanks to price adjustments, business recovery and new capacity; acquisitions such as Kate Farms, Huel and the Made Group are intended to reinforce the health- and plant-powered strategy.   • Danone appoints Jean-Yves Krummenacher as general manager DACH

    Danone has appointed Jean-Yves Krummenacher as general manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland; he will take up the role in November 2026 and succeeds Richard Trechman, who is leaving the company. Krummenacher is a Swiss-French dual national and has worked at Danone for more than 25 years, most recently as global head of purchasing with previous leadership roles in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
