Edisun Power issued around 2.0 million new registered shares at CHF 218.05 each and fully paid them by offsetting a seller loan related to the takeover of Smartenergy’s business activities. Edisun Power is acquiring the operating activities of the Smartenergy Group for a purchase price of just under CHF 440 million. To finance the deal, Smartenergy will initially grant a loan equal to the purchase price, which will be offset by the subscription of around 2 million new registered shares of Edisun Power at CHF 218.05 per share.
