Fiinu corrects faulty electronic voting recommendation ahead of general meeting
Fiinu said electronic proxy voting platforms mistakenly displayed the board’s recommendation for the extraordinary general meeting as “For” instead of the correct “Against.” Two resolutions are affected: the removal of Dr. Marko Petteri Sjoblom as director and a non-binding resolution to review the leadership structure and corporate governance. Fiinu has contacted the platform operators to request corrections and urges shareholders to review and, if necessary, change any voting instructions already submitted before the voting deadline; the meeting takes place on 11 September 2026. » More on de.investing.com
Fiinu: major shareholder Granicus demands removal of CEO Marko Petteri Sjoblom
Granicus Holdings OÜ, a shareholder with about 10.7% of Fiinu, has asked the board to convene a general meeting to remove CEO Dr. Marko Petteri Sjoblom and to instruct the independent directors to review leadership and governance structures. The request was submitted under section 303 of the Companies Act 2006; the board is currently assessing its legal validity and is advising shareholders not to take action for the time being. The filing came four days after the general meeting at which all directors were re-elected; Granicus had supported the re-election of the independent non‑executive directors. Dr. Sjoblom is the founder and largest shareholder with 31.42%; Fiinu is also pursuing arbitration and claims against the owners of Granicus for alleged contractual breaches, totaling more than £16 million. » More on de.investing.com
