FingerMotion increases liquidity to $5.1m and cuts monthly cash burn by 30%

FingerMotion acquires 9.9‑MW energy site in Alberta, Canada

FingerMotion announced a binding letter of intent to acquire land rights and permits for a 9.9‑megawatt site for power generation and compute capacity in Newell County, Alberta. The site, described as the first acquisition of the planned "Brooks Campus Zone", is located on existing natural gas infrastructure and is intended to generate power behind the meter to avoid grid connection and transmission constraints. The company plans to apply for approvals under Alberta Utilities Commission Regulation 007 and for an Industrial System Designation, aiming for full permitting within 120 days. Development will proceed in three phases and will only begin commissioning once take‑or‑pay contracts and customer deposits are in place; collaboration with BlueFlare Group is expected to support operations and development. FingerMotion signs non-binding memorandum of understanding with Lyken.AI to provide AI compute capacity

FingerMotion has agreed with Lyken AI and BlueFlare on a framework to align demand and capacity for AI and high-performance computing, initially focused on Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Lyken is to broker customer enquiries, BlueFlare will handle site development and energy operations, and FingerMotion is envisaged as owner, operator and project sponsor. The agreement is non-binding, non-exclusive and contains no capacity guarantees, prices or financing commitments; project progress depends on site, fuel, equipment, customer and permitting conditions.
