Frasers expands influence at Hugo Boss and seeks majority stake
Frasers holds 47.89 percent of Hugo Boss after a takeover offer and has increased its influence on the supervisory board. Supervisory board chairman Stephan Sturm will step down from his mandate on October 15, 2026, apparently at the urging of the majority investor. Frasers intends to send another member, Robert Palmer, to the supervisory board alongside CEO Michael Murray and aims to raise its stake to over 50 percent; earlier Hugo Boss had already adjusted its dividend policy in favor of higher growth investments. The stock remains attractive both operationally and as a takeover speculation. » More on finanzen.net

Its holding had most recently risen to 47.89 percent. On the market, Hugo Boss shares rose nearly 1 percent to €39, while Frasers’ papers slipped slightly in London. » More on finanzen.net
Frasers Group expands luxury footprint with Harvey Nichols and larger Hugo Boss stake
Frasers Group, led by Mike Ashley, has bought Harvey Nichols out of administration and increased its stake in Hugo Boss to 48%, adding to prior holdings in Flannels, Mulberry and others. Analysts warn the luxury push has so far been financially disappointing and could struggle to win supplier confidence, though Ashley’s asset-backed approach and property value provide downside protection. » More on theguardian.com
