Billionaire Daniel Křetínský has tabled an offer to increase his stake in Fnac Darty and aims to raise his holding from roughly 28 percent to above 50 percent through purchases of shares and convertible bonds. He is offering €36 per share, about 19 percent above the last price, which would value Fnac Darty at slightly more than €1 billion. The board supports the offer and a delisting is not planned. The role of major shareholder Ceconomy and restrictions on JD.com imposed by the French government could affect how the situation unfolds. » More on faz.net
