  • Halliburton wins integrated Cronos contract offshore Cyprus

Halliburton secured a multi-year integrated contract from Eni for the Cronos ultra-deepwater development in Block 6 off Cyprus, covering drilling, well construction, automation (LOGIX), completions and related services; contract value was not disclosed. Bundling services could raise revenue per well, improve coordination and leverage regional infrastructure, while LOGIX automation may reduce unproductive time. Profitability depends on pricing, mobilization, equipment utilization, and cash conversion, with risks from coordination challenges and upfront capital needs. The award adds to recent regional activity but its financial contribution will hinge on delivery pace and margins. » More on finance.yahoo.com

  • Halliburton awarded contract by Eni for ultra‑deepwater Cronos project off Cyprus

Halliburton has received a bundled multi‑year contract from Eni for wellbore construction and completion in the ultra‑deepwater Cronos project in Block 6 of the exclusive economic zone of Cyprus. The company will provide integrated drilling, wellbore construction, automation (LOGIX) and remote control, cementing, well testing and coiled‑tubing services. Halliburton plans to carry out the work using regional infrastructure in Cyprus and expects the integrated delivery model to reduce operational interfaces. The contract strengthens Halliburton’s presence in the eastern Mediterranean gas sector and is intended to be applied in further offshore campaigns. » More on de.investing.com

  • Halliburton falls after Q2 numbers: stock under premarket pressure

Halliburton reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.55 and revenue of $5.71 billion for Q2 2026, with the metrics only just above analysts' estimates and disappointing the market. The stock fell about 3.9% premarket as results declined sequentially and falling oil prices and reduced drilling budgets in the Middle East cloud the near-term outlook. Stable demand in Latin America, Europe and Africa could only partially offset declines in the Middle East; competitors face similar earnings pressure. » More on de.investing.com
