HCI Group launches pilot project for tokenized reinsurance securities
HCI Group, through its reinsurance subsidiary Fortex Re, has launched a pilot project for three digital, tokenized reinsurance securities offered via SurancePlus. The tokens carry different issue prices (Series A $11.10, B $22.12, C $30.01) and estimated redemption values based on a loss‑free risk period and excluding any additional investment returns. The minimum investment is $5,000; the offering is aimed at qualified U.S. and non‑U.S. investors under Regulation D Rule 506(c) and Regulation S. The securities are intended to provide contractually specified returns and do not affect Fortex Re’s or HCI’s existing reinsurance programs. » More on de.investing.com
