IGM Financial bets on simplification and AI and aims to save CAD 70 million

IGM Financial unveiled a sharpened strategy at the Scotiabank Financials Summit: growth in wealth management and asset management, targeted technology and AI investments, and disciplined capital returns. The restructuring under way since June targets CAD 70 million in cost cuts by 2028, to be reinvested in the business.
