Kingfisher keeps full-year profit forecast after weak B&Q Easter sales
Kingfisher said group like-for-like sales fell 0.9% in the first quarter (Feb–Apr) as B&Q sales dropped 4.1% due to a wet Easter, while Screwfix revenue rose 4.1%. The group blamed seasonal weather for weaker garden and bathroom product sales but saw kitchens grow 4.5% and trade sales increase 17% excluding Screwfix.
