LIXIL beats annual forecast, weak final quarter weighs on shares
LIXIL reports an operating core profit of ¥38.5 billion for fiscal 2026, beating its forecast, while revenue of ¥1,510.7 billion grew only slightly. The fourth quarter fell short of expectations and pressured the stock, even though EBITDA and net profit attributable to owners rose significantly. Internationally, Europe and IMEA showed particularly strong margins; in the Americas, profitability was achieved after restructurings at the end of March. For 2027 LIXIL forecasts ¥1,600 billion in revenue and an operating core profit of ¥45 billion, but sees risks from raw material prices, geopolitical tensions and weak housing markets. » More on de.investing.com
