London Company adds McGrath RentCorp to small-cap portfolio citing resilient cash flows
London Company Small Cap Strategy initiated a position in McGrath RentCorp, highlighting its B2B rental businesses in modular buildings, portable storage and electronic test equipment and a recurring revenue model with stable education leases. The firm cited MGRC's market-share gains, >20% returns on invested capital, conservative balance sheet and regional scale advantages that support organic growth, acquisitions and capital returns. Analysts see upside from potential commercial construction recovery and believe the market underappreciates the company's long-term earnings power. » More on finance.yahoo.com
McGrath RentCorp director sells $905,000 of stock, reduces stake to ~151,549 shares
On July 1, director Joseph F. Hanna sold 7,500 shares of McGrath RentCorp for about $905,000, trimming his direct stake by 4.72% to 151,549 shares valued at roughly $18.17 million. This is the smallest of his five open-market sales since February 2024 and the Form 4 shows no Rule 10b5-1 trading plan, suggesting discretionary timing. Company results remain steady with Q1 rental revenue growth and management reaffirming full-year revenue guidance; the sale is presented as routine portfolio trimming rather than a sign of waning conviction. McGrath will report second-quarter results on July 29. » More on finance.yahoo.com
