MOL Group reports adjusted CCS EBITDA of $1.297bn for Q2 2026 and H1 EBITDA of $1.923bn, supported by higher oil and gas prices and strong downstream margins. Despite production outages, a refinery fire and the shutdown of Steam Cracker 1 until 2027, group production remained above 95,000 boe/d; the balance sheet stays robust with net debt/EBITDA below 0.5x. Hungarian prosecutor's office opens investigation into insider trading at MOL
The Hungarian prosecutor's office has ordered a police investigation into transactions in MOL shares to look into possible breaches of insider trading rules. The probe includes a review of share sales by MOL executives that was already launched in February by the Hungarian National Bank. The sales took place shortly after crude oil deliveries via the Druschba-Pipeline were interrupted on 27 January; deliveries were resumed at the end of April. MOL has previously stated the company complied with applicable laws; the prosecutor's office says clarification of the investigation is necessary. » More on de.investing.com
