Molecular Partners expands radio‑DARPin pipeline with drug candidate MP0730
Molecular Partners has selected MP0730 as its third program for targeted alpha radiotherapies. The candidate targets the protein CD70, which is commonly expressed in clear‑cell renal cell carcinoma and other tumors. In animal studies, MP0730 accumulated strongly and persistently in tumor tissue while causing low exposure in healthy organs. The first clinical study in humans is planned for the second half of 2027. » More on finanzen.net
Molecular Partners reports H1 2026 figures and opens cohort 2 for MP0712
Molecular Partners reports an operating loss of CHF 27.0 million and a net loss of CHF 26.7 million for H1 2026, and cash and cash equivalents of CHF 67.9 million, which the company expects will fund it through the end of 2027. The phase‑1/2a study of the DLL3‑targeting radio‑DARPin MP0712 has reached the next therapeutic dose level (cohort 2, 105 MBq) and continues to recruit; initial clinical data are expected later in 2026, with more extensive efficacy data in 2027. CD70 has been selected as the next target for the RDT pipeline; the program is planned to enter the clinic in 2027. Other programs such as MP0317, MP0533 and MP0632 are continuing in early‑phase or preclinical development. » More on finanzen.net
Molecular Partners starts phase II trial with MP0317 in cholangiocarcinoma
Molecular Partners has launched the TACTIC phase II trial testing MP0317 together with modern immunotherapy and standard chemotherapy as first‑line treatment for advanced cholangiocarcinoma. The study will enroll 75 patients at nine specialized centres in France; initial results are expected in 2027, with completion in 2028. MP0317 is a targeted protein therapeutic that activates the immune system in the tumour microenvironment; the efficacy of this mechanism was already demonstrated in a phase I study and published in Nature Cancer. » More on finanzen.net
