Norwood Financial posts record net interest income, integration costs weigh on results
Norwood Financial reported record net interest income of $24.6 million for Q1 2026 and an expanded net interest margin, but missed analysts’ expectations with adjusted diluted EPS of $0.72 versus $0.81. Merger and integration costs (about $4.9 million) and a $1 million increase in risk provisions pressured sequential results. The acquisition of Presence Bank expanded the balance sheet to $2.9 billion, the core system conversion is complete, and management expects mid‑term margin improvements but sees near‑term headwinds from higher operating costs and competitive pressure. » More on de.investing.com
