JR Motorsports re-signs Sammy Smith for 2026

Sammy Smith has signed a contract extension to remain in JR Motorsports' No. 8 car for the 2026 season, with continued backing from Pilot, TMC and Allstate Peterbilt Group. Smith, 21, has raced full time in the Xfinity Series since 2023 and has recorded a win in each season, including victories in the past two years with JR Motorsports.
