Prudential Financial yields 4.64% after 18th consecutive dividend increase, but Japan suspension poses earnings risk
A $100,000 position in Prudential Financial currently generates about $4,640 annually following a 4% dividend raise in Feb 2026, marking 18 consecutive years of increases. Management warns Prudential of Japan's voluntary sales suspension could hit 2026 adjusted operating income by $525–575 million, the largest near-term earnings risk, and the analyst consensus price target sits below the current share price. » More on finance.yahoo.com

Prudential Financial unveils realignment: focus, market exits and cost cuts
At the KBW Insurance Conference, Prudential Financial announced a strategic realignment: exiting more than a dozen markets with expected proceeds well above $3 billion, cutting costs by $750 million by the end of 2028 (with $150 million by end‑2027), and reshaping PGIM into an integrated platform to raise its long‑term share of earnings from about 12% to 25%. Japan remains central—about 40% of profits—with operations to be gradually ramped back up over 12–18 months after distribution problems. Growth will come organically and through targeted acquisitions in asset management, group insurance and selected UK pension markets, while the company tightens capital discipline and operational efficiency. » More on de.investing.com
