Pyrum nears solution to pelletizing bottleneck, decision expected by 20 November
After delays with the grinding and pelletizing plant, Pyrum had to cut its annual revenue and EBIT targets. There are two possible solutions: ongoing process adjustments or installing a dosing system that has already been ordered and is due to be delivered at the end of November. An update on third-quarter results on 20 November is expected to clarify which route will be taken and how long implementation will take. Fixing the bottleneck would enable strong revenue growth next year, but the risk of further delays remains. » More on finanzen.net
Pyrum misses preliminary production target for carbon-black pellets
As of the cut-off at the end of the third quarter, Pyrum has, following technical modifications by the manufacturer, only achieved peak throughput of 1.25 tonnes per hour instead of the targeted 1.65 tonnes per hour. The company views the setback as temporary; in the medium term the prospects for end-of-life tyre recycling and pellet production remain promising. » More on finanzen.net
Pyrum cuts forecast after production bottleneck, solution from new dosing system expected in November
Pyrum has not yet reached the targeted throughput rate of its grinding and pelleting plant and has therefore reduced its 2026 revenue forecast from €6.5–9.5 million to €4.2–5.3 million and its EBIT expectation to -€10.0 to -€12.5 million. As a remedy, a new dosing system was ordered in May/June and is due to be delivered in November, which could fully resolve the bottleneck. Until then the company is running a three-shift operation including Saturday work, and if financing is successful the growth prospects from 2027 remain unchangedly good. The stock suffered a brief price setback but has quickly recovered most of it. » More on finanzen.net
