Repsol benefits from rising oil prices after Trump's rejection of Iranian proposals
Oil prices rose sharply after US President Donald Trump rejected an Iranian offer to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Brent climbed to about $106.30 a barrel, boosting energy producers worldwide. Repsol is cited as one of the few large companies not active in the Middle East and is therefore likely to benefit from the price rally as well as an attractive valuation and dividend. » More on deraktionaer.de
Repsol reaches record high thanks to high oil prices
Repsol's stock hit another record high as persistently high oil prices support the Spanish energy group. Brent crude fell briefly but remains at elevated levels after the Saudi east–west pipeline is expected to resume operations soon. Analysts warn, however, of ongoing geopolitical risks in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea that are likely to continue supporting prices. Repsol also benefits from having little exposure in the Middle East, offers an attractive dividend yield and remains technically interesting on the charts. » More on deraktionaer.de
Oil prices rise after Hormuz meeting canceled and Saudi pipeline shutdown – Repsol benefits
Brent crude climbed about 3% to roughly $107.60 a barrel after a foreign ministers’ meeting on the Strait of Hormuz, planned for Salalah, was postponed and Saudi Arabia had to shut the east–west pipeline as a precaution following drone attacks. Supply uncertainty and the risk of blockades in strategic seas are pushing prices higher; Brent is up almost 80% year-to-date. Repsol is seen as less exposed to Middle East risks and is benefiting from high oil prices as well as attractive valuation metrics and dividends. » More on deraktionaer.de
