Shell forecasts significantly higher trading profits in its integrated gas division for the third quarter and an increase in the refining margin from $8.90 to $11.60 per barrel, which should partly offset weaker oil prices. The company raised the lower bound of its upstream production forecast to 1.79–1.89 million barrels per day, but lowered the upper end of its gas production guidance and expects more LNG volumes of 7–7.4 million tonnes.
