Südzucker raises annual targets, stock retreats after steep rise
Strong Q2 figures, driven by subsidiary Cropenergies and the specialty products division, led to an upward revision of the sales forecast and a narrower, higher Ebitda range for 2026/27. Investors took profits because the new Ebitda forecast (implied midpoint ~€610m) does not rise in line with revenue and lags some estimates. A Barclays analyst sees the announcement as confirmation of a turnaround but criticizes the lack of news on the sugar segment, which dampened the share gains. Chart-wise, the 21-day line at around €12.52 is moving back into focus. » More on finanzen.net
Südzucker benefits from higher sugar and biofuel prices ahead of Q2 figures
Rising crude oil prices since July have pushed up sugar and biofuel prices, from which Südzucker and its subsidiary CropEnergies are expected to benefit significantly in Q2 2026/27. After a better-than-expected Q1, operating EBITDA increased, while full-year sales are forecast at €8.0–8.4 billion and EBITDA at €480–680 million; an upward clarification toward the top of the range is possible. Weaker year-ago comparatives further favour positive surprises; chart-wise the share is attempting to break the year high around €13. » More on finanzen.net
Südzucker in rally mode after breakout above neckline
After forming a base and a dynamic price surge, Südzucker has reached a 2-year high and bullishly confirmed an inverse head-and-shoulders formation. The price broke above the neckline on August 20 and now faces resistance at €12.66–13.17; a daily close above that would confirm the bulls. Next targets are €13.57/13.76 and €14.15–14.58, pullbacks to €11.81–12.06 would be non-critical, while a break of the support zone €11.30–11.65 would be a warning signal. » More on finanzen.net
