Super Retail Group posts record revenue in 2026 — shares climb 15% after results
Super Retail Group reported record total revenue of AUD 4.2bn for fiscal 2026, driven by like‑for‑like growth and new store openings, while normalized profit before tax fell 7% to AUD 306m. Operating cash flow rose to AUD 593m and net debt was only AUD 14m, underlining balance sheet strength. Management cites investments in the supply chain and system upgrades under the five‑year transformation program Project Ignite as the reason for profit pressure and reports a positive start to fiscal 2027 (like‑for‑like up 1.5% in the first seven weeks). Citi cuts price target for Super Retail Group after raising cost outlook
Citi has reduced its earnings forecast for Super Retail Group for fiscal 2027 by 5% and lowered the price target to A$14.20. The move reflects higher general operating and project costs, while Super Retail plans to expand its store network from 790 to over 900 locations by 2031. Citi sees long-term opportunities in the Rebel and Supercheap Auto/BCF brands that could offset competitive pressure; the stock is down roughly 23% year-to-date. » More on de.investing.com
