Surface Transforms sells business and assets for £1.4m – share delisted from AIM
Insolvent Surface Transforms has sold almost its entire business and assets for £1.4m in cash to CCST Limited. The deal includes operations, IT, intellectual property, contracts, inventory and rights to the name; ten employees transferred as part of a business transfer. An independent valuation confirmed the sale exceeded the orderly net realisation value, and secured creditors approved the transaction. Proceeds will be used to satisfy creditors; no funds will be available for shareholders. Surface Transforms appoints Paul Marr to board of directors
Surface Transforms has appointed Paul Marr as a non-executive director with immediate effect. Marr brings more than 35 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, including leadership roles at General Motors and other manufacturers, and holds an M.S.M. from MIT and a BSc from Kettering University.
