Tamboran starts gas commissioning of Sturt Plateau compressor facility

Tamboran has begun gas commissioning of the Sturt Plateau compressor facility and is using gas from the Shenandoah South-2 wellpads. The 50/50 JV facility has processing capacity of up to 50 TJ/d; the Northern Territory government has signed a take-or-pay contract for 40 TJ/d for up to 14 years. During commissioning gas is being sold at a discounted price, and the construction project is on schedule and within the P50 gross budget of A$141 million.
