  • RBC upgrades Technip Energies to outperform after record order intake

RBC has raised Technip Energies from "Sector Perform" to "Outperform" and lowered the 12-month price target from €45 to €42. The upgrade is justified by record order intake of €12.7bn and an adjusted order backlog of €25.04bn, leading RBC to view the stock as undervalued after weaker performance. RBC expects EBITDA of €519.8m for 2026 and €737.6m for 2027, and sees potential additional upside from cost reimbursements by customers. Scenarios range from €25 to €52 per share; the current target implies roughly 41% upside versus the closing price on September 9. » More on de.investing.com

  • Technip Energies cuts full-year guidance after weak Q2 due to pressures in the Middle East

Technip Energies missed consensus in Q2, posting adjusted net profit of €10.5m and adjusted EBITDA of €63.5m. Operational and contractual problems on projects in the Middle East prompted the company to lower its full-year guidance for the Projects Delivery EBITDA margin from 6.5–7.5% to above 5%. The revenue guidance of €5.7–6.3 billion remains unchanged, the TPS margin was raised to around 15%, the order backlog increased to €25 billion, and the net cash position stood at €3.42 billion. » More on de.investing.com
