  • Teva accelerates pivot to growth as branded drugs and biosimilars drive outlook

Teva says its 'Pivot to Growth' strategy is entering a faster phase as branded medicines gain momentum, generics stabilize and biosimilars expand. Management highlighted AUSTEDO's potential to exceed $3 billion, AJOVY approaching $1 billion, and UZEDY plus long‑acting olanzapine representing a $1.5–2 billion opportunity. The company has 11 biosimilars on the market with about nine more planned by decade-end and expects to beat its $800 million biosimilars target for 2027 early. Teva also reduced debt, secured investment‑grade ratings ahead of schedule, completed refinancing, and is advancing pipeline assets including ecopipam and duvakitug toward potential 2027 launches. » More on finance.yahoo.com

  • S&P upgrades Teva to BBB- after debt reduction and strong branded pipeline

S&P Global Ratings has upgraded Teva from BB+ to BBB- and raised all of the company’s ratings. The agency cites ongoing debt reduction, stabilization in the generics business and growth of high-margin branded products; leverage is expected to fall from about 4x in the second quarter to the mid-3x range by year-end. S&P expects strong adjusted operating cash flow of $2.3–2.5 billion annually, substantial cost savings through 2027, as well as revenue gains from key brands such as Austedo, Ajovy and Uzedy and important product launches in the coming years. » More on de.investing.com

  • Teva asks judge to bar mention of Israeli origin at Humana price-fixing trial

Teva asked a U.S. judge to prevent insurer Humana from telling jurors the company is Israeli, arguing references to its national origin could prejudice the jury amid strong U.S. emotions over the Gaza war. The Tel Aviv-based drugmaker said national origin is irrelevant to allegations it conspired to inflate generic drug prices and could undermine a fair trial. The U.S. trial is scheduled to begin Sept. 15 and covers claims over drugs including baclofen and propranolol. » More on finance.yahoo.com
