Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems poised for billion-dollar contract for joint submarine build with India
Germany and India are close to finalizing an agreement to jointly build six submarines that reports say could be worth about eight billion US dollars. Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems is to manufacture the vessels for the Indian Navy together with the Indian state shipyard Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders. The Thyssenkrupp subsidiary in naval shipbuilding accelerated revenue growth in the third fiscal quarter thanks to good project progress and has sharply raised its full-year 2025/26 forecast: now revenue up 10–12% instead of 2–5% and adjusted EBIT margin of up to 6.5% (previous target: >6%).
