Verizon maintains quarterly dividend; yield about 5.6% as cash flow improves
Verizon kept its quarterly dividend at $0.7075 per share with the next payment on Nov. 2, 2026, reflecting a 20-year streak of annual increases but no new raise this time. Annualized payout of $2.83 implies a roughly 5.6% yield at current prices, attractive for income-focused investors. Free cash flow rose materially in H1 2026 (up 16%), supporting the payout, though debt, network investment and other cash demands limit the pace of future dividend growth. The company projects 9–10% free cash flow growth for 2026, which would provide further room for dividend support if achieved. » More on finance.yahoo.com

Verizon shows turnaround effects: stronger growth and higher cash flow
At the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference, Verizon presented a shift toward customer-focused, results-driven operations and reported improved growth and higher free cash flow. For 2026 the company expects adjusted EPS growth of 6–7% and an increase in free cash flow of 9–10%; net new postpaid additions are expected to be at the high end of the 750,000–1,000,000 range. Key drivers are lower churn rates, higher customer satisfaction, reduced acquisition and retention costs, and savings in operating and capital expenditures. Verizon is focusing on simpler plans, fiber expansion, fixed wireless access and AI-driven services, and sees additional revenue potential from AI infrastructure and dark-fiber offerings starting in 2027. » More on de.investing.com
