VersaBank reported for Q3 2026 a revenue increase of 23% to CAD 38.8 million and an increase in earnings per share from CAD 0.20 to CAD 0.31; net income rose 53% to CAD 10.1 million. Total assets reached CAD 6.9 billion at quarter-end and climbed to CAD 7.2 billion after quarter-end, and the SRP portfolio grew 40% to CAD 5.2 billion. Management is introducing Real‑Time SRP, is targeting substantial additional SRP financings in the US and Canada, and expects the net interest margin to move back toward 2.3% once liquidity normalizes. VersaBank asks shareholders to vote on new U.S. holding structure
VersaBank has sent notices for an extraordinary general meeting on Sept. 16, 2026, in London, Ontario, at which shareholders will vote on a reorganization to create Versa Bancorp as a direct or indirect holding company. After the reorganization, Versa Bancorp would replace the currently listed VersaBank and shareholders would receive shares in the new parent company.
