Yara delivers CO2‑reduced fertilizer to Team Agrar for the first time
Yara and Team Agrar have signed a contract for the delivery of 2,500 tonnes of CO2‑reduced fertilizer, whose production saved around 900 tonnes of CO2 equivalent. The fertilizer is produced in Rostock from ammonia from the Sluiskil plant, where Yara captures CO2 via CCS and injects it underground. Yara sees CO2‑reduced fertilizer as an important lever for decarbonizing food production and for strengthening European independence from Russian fertilizer. According to the company, the first delivery can fertilize 3,500 to 4,000 hectares. » More on welt.de
Yara shares fall well short of analysts' expectations after Q2 results
Yara dropped 2.3% to 443.6 NOK after Q2 2026 figures that missed market expectations by a wide margin. Adjusted EBITDA was $906m versus a consensus of $1.13bn, despite the margin rising 400 basis points to 20.5%. The main reason was a 17% decline in plant nutrition sales volume to 5.2m tonnes, with particularly large losses in Africa and Asia (-28%) and unplanned production outages. Analysts had already pared expectations (Jefferies from Buy to Hold), and the stock trades about 26% below its 52-week high. » More on de.investing.com

Yara plans to integrate the facility into its midstream ammonia platform, serving external customers and its own needs to boost operational resilience; the purchase increases planned 2026 investments and results in a pro-forma net debt/EBITDA of 1.73. » More on de.investing.com
