  • YIT reports Q1 loss after revaluations and restructuring

YIT posted a net loss of €34 million in the first quarter, mainly caused by fair-value adjustments to non-strategic assets and restructuring costs. Revenue rose slightly to €399 million, but adjusted operating profit fell to €12 million (EBIT margin 2.90%); the operating result was −€18 million. YIT has implemented measures to reduce debt and expects an adjusted operating result from continuing operations of €70–100 million for 2026; the housing markets in the Baltics and CEE are expected to remain favorable, while no rise in new-build sales is anticipated for Finland. » More on de.investing.com

  • YIT raises annual forecast despite revenue decline thanks to Eastern Europe business

YIT reports Q3 2025 revenue down to €402m, with an adjusted operating result of €12m and a return on invested capital of 3%. The company raised its full-year forecast for adjusted operating profit to €40–60m, supported by strong growth in Central and Eastern Europe where residential construction output rose 60% and more than 4,000 homes are under construction. However, the balance sheet shows net debt of €669m and a gearing ratio of 85%, so capital efficiency and potential disposals are priorities. YIT also plans larger investments in data centers and sees improved prospects in its infrastructure and contracting business, but remains exposed to risks such as a weak Finnish housing market and labor shortages. » More on de.investing.com

  • YIT impresses with strong Q2 results and share price surge

YIT reported an adjusted operating profit of €10 million and revenue of $412 million in the second quarter of 2025, leading to a 9.01% increase in its share price. The company is benefiting from a recovery in the Finnish residential real estate market and is focusing on sustainable construction projects as well as strategic capital release. Despite high debt and negative cash flow, the outlook remains positive due to ambitious targets set through 2029. » More on de.investing.com
