American Family to acquire Bowhead Specialty for $1.2 billion

American Family has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Bowhead Specialty for approximately $1.2 billion, paying $34.00 per share in cash, representing an 11% premium to the July 31, 2026 closing price. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2026 and is subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.
