Bunge raises full-year outlook after Viterra integration and increases synergy targets
Bunge raised its adjusted EPS forecast for the full year to $9.25–$9.75 and said the integration of Viterra is delivering synergies faster than expected. Cost synergies are expected to reach a run rate of more than $200 million by the end of 2025, and the four‑year target was raised from $250 million to $350 million. The company highlighted an expanded presence across key growing regions, improved sourcing and processing capabilities (including Renova in Argentina), and lower capital expenditures, freeing more cash for dividends and a $2 billion share buyback program. » More on de.investing.com
Bunge raises full-year forecast after strong first quarter
Bunge reported adjusted earnings per share of $1.83 for Q1 2026 and adjusted segment EBIT rose 62.8% to $661m. Strong results in soybean and oilseed processing (particularly following the Viterra acquisition) drove performance, while trading and milling were weaker. Due to operational efficiency and favorable market conditions, management raised its adjusted EPS guidance for 2026 to $9.00–9.50 (previously $7.50–8.00). The balance sheet remains liquid with revolving credit facilities and an adjusted leverage of about 1.6x, despite net debt rising to $13.0bn. » More on de.investing.com
Bunge beats Q1 earnings forecast by a wide margin, misses revenue
Bunge reported adjusted EPS of US$1.83 for Q1 2026, well above the US$0.85 estimate, while revenue of US$21.86 billion missed the US$23.09 billion forecast. Drivers of the profit jump were operational efficiency and cost management as well as the integration of Viterra; geopolitical disruptions weighed on revenue growth. Management remains optimistic for the rest of the year and expects continued EPS growth, and the stock reacted slightly positively in premarket trading. » More on de.investing.com
