Croda reports stagnant sales in first quarter and confirms full-year guidance

Croda reported Q1 sales of £431m (-2% yoy, +1% on a constant currency basis), slightly below analysts' expectations of £442m. Weakness in the Life Sciences division weighed on results (sales £126m, -6% yoy, -3% cc), while Consumer Care, Fragrance & Flavours and Home Care grew on a constant currency basis. By region, sales rose 2% cc in both EMEA and Asia and 11% in Latin America, while North America declined 7%. Croda International brings Jill Anderson onto the board

Croda International appoints Jill Anderson as a non-executive director with effect from 12 January 2026; she will be a member of the audit, nomination and remuneration committee. Anderson brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in healthcare, most recently serving as chief financial officer of GSK’s research and development division until her retirement in 2024.
