DBS and Singapore's banks promise AI overhaul without mass layoffs

Singapore's major banks, led by DBS, are pursuing a strategy of retraining rather than cutting staff as they expand AI applications. DBS has given all 40,000 employees basic AI training and retrained 11,000 for new roles created by AI.
