People Inc, chaired by Barry Diller, proposed to buy the remaining shares of MGM Resorts for $48.30 a share in cash, valuing the casino operator at more than $18bn and representing a roughly 10.6% premium. MGM Resorts appoints Ayesha Molino as chief operating officer effective January 1, 2026, and Gary Fritz as chief commercial officer and president of MGM Digital with immediate effect. Current COO Corey Sanders will retire at the end of 2025 and remain in an advisory role through the end of 2026.
