OHB falls to six-month low after capital increase and earnings revision

OHB shares recently plunged to around €175 (Xetra) after an attempted floor at €220 failed and institutional investors triggered sales following the €300 capital increase. OHB receives just under one billion euro contract for 18 Iris² satellites

The Bremen space company OHB is to build 18 satellites for the EU’s Iris² communications initiative and will receive just under one billion euros for the work. The first OHB-built satellites are scheduled to launch in 2029; the overall 348-satellite project aims to provide eavesdrop-proof, crisis-resistant communications for government agencies, the military and businesses and to strengthen Europe’s sovereignty.
