Renk aims to more than triple production of tank transmissions by 2030
Defense supplier Renk reports record orders and is shifting civilian sites more toward military production. Production of tank transmissions is set to rise from under 600 (2023) to more than 800 (current year) and to over 2,000 units by 2030. Renk plans investments in Germany of up to €325 million by 2028 for digitalization and capacity expansion; the Rheine plant will be retooled for small-series production and its workforce expanded to over 500 employees.
