Renold takeover by MPE Bid Co pending completion — cash consideration for shareholders secured

All regulatory approvals for the cash takeover of Renold by the newly formed MPE Bid Co have been received. The court hearing is scheduled for 27 October, the plan is expected to become effective on 29 October and the ordinary shares will be transferred to Endurance PT Technologie Buyer Corporation. Trading in Renold shares on AIM will be suspended at 07:30 on 29 October and formally ended on 30 October; payment to shareholders is planned by 12 November.
