Solis Minerals acquires 93,000 ha lithium ground in Minas Gerais from Rio Tinto
Solis Minerals agreed to buy a 93,000-hectare lithium exploration package in Minas Gerais from Rio Tinto for US$500,000 plus a 1.75% net smelter return royalty. The tenure lies in the Araçuaí–Salinas Lithium Valley adjacent to PLS Group ground, with Mandacaru and Campo Grande flagged as drill-ready after Rio Tinto’s historical sampling and mapping. Solis is funded for an initial ~2,000m scout diamond drilling program and will undertake mapping, geochemistry and geophysics over the next six months; a collaboration gives PLS participation rights on any future transaction. » More on smallcaps.com.au
