Tortoise Energy Infrastructure has announced the resignation of Rand C. Berney from its board of directors and appointed Carrie R. Schoffman as a new member and chair of the audit and valuation committee. Schoffman brings extensive experience in auditing and fund management, and will also join the board of the Tortoise Sustainable and Social Impact Term Fund. Tortoise has appointed Carrie R. Schoffman to the board of directors of the Sustainable & Social Impact Term Fund, where she will also chair the audit and valuation committee. At the same time, Tortoise plans to merge the Sustainable & Social Impact Term Fund with Tortoise Energy Infrastructure Corp., creating a company with approximately $1.2 billion in assets under management.
