Travelite launches sales in China and expands brand presence internationally
Travelite is moving beyond production and is now actively bringing its core brand into the Chinese market, initially through a distribution partnership with CDF‑Sunrise. The brand is positioned at a lower price point than Rimowa and Samsonite; the secondary brand Titan is already sold in China, while the parent brand is being built up from scratch and is generating start‑up costs. At the same time Travelite plans expansion into several EU countries and wants to broaden its offering for younger customers with more bags and backpacks, without abandoning its core suitcases segment. The family‑run company most recently generated around €80 million in sales and produces roughly one million suitcases and 1.5 million bags and backpacks annually. » More on capital.de
