ADTRAN misses Q2 2026 forecasts and reports shrinking margins

ADTRAN reported adjusted earnings of $0.04 per share and revenue of $281.1 million for Q2, missing consensus estimates. Management attributed the result to a delay in a large customer project, an unfavorable product mix and supply constraints that limited higher‑margin shipments. The fiber-network business grew 22%, revenue from cloud/enterprise customers rose 47% and hyperscalers increased 97%.
