AIC Mines outlines accelerated growth path for copper production
AIC Mines presented a staged expansion plan at the Noosa Mining Conference 2026 to lift copper production from 13,064 t in GJ 2026 to more than 25,000 t per year from GJ 2029. The Eloise mine again generated strong operating cash flow (AUD 63.3m) and supports funding, supplemented by a AUD 50m loan facility with Trafigura (AUD 30m drawn). The Jericho project was rapidly advanced from exploration to production, reducing dependence on Eloise; metallurgical tests support the processing‑plant expansion. Risks remain: completion of the plant expansion, higher spending over the next two years and the need for value‑accretive M&A transactions. » More on de.investing.com
AIC Mines reports strong Q3 numbers with record metal sales and robust cash flow
AIC Mines achieved record metal sales of A$72 million in Q3 2026 and net operating cash flow from mining of A$27.7 million. Production totaled 3,432 t of copper and 1,692 oz of gold, with production guidance met or exceeded for the eleventh consecutive quarter. The funding for the Eloise mine expansion to 1.1 Mt/year is fully in place, and a further expansion to 1.5 Mt/year is being considered. Risks remain from weather-related disruptions, rising diesel costs and supply-chain bottlenecks, but management does not see a need for additional capital for the planned expansion. » More on de.investing.com
