AltaGas reports record Q1 results and raises 2026 capex to CAD 1.7 billion

AltaGas delivered record Q1 normalized EBITDA of CAD 818 million and normalized EPS of CAD 1.33, with leverage improved to 4.4x. Midstream outperformance—driven by nearly 125,000 bpd of LPG exports and 14% Montney volume growth—lifted midstream EBITDA 39% to CAD 273 million. Management said REEF Phase I is ~75% complete with Optimization 1 under construction and plans for further expansions that could ultimately export up to 500,000 bpd.
